Q: Is this a print or a weave? A: This is an authentic Woven Patola, meaning the geometric patterns are created by the loom, not printed on top. However, we have added Hand-embellishment (Cutdana & Mirrors) on the borders to give it a heavier, wedding-ready look.
Q: How heavy is the saree? A: The Silk base is lightweight and easy to drape, but the handwork on the pallu and border adds a luxurious weight. This ensures the pallu stays in place without flying around, even outdoors.
